OUR MISSION
We are a welcoming, evangelizing, worshiping parish community, encouraging all to step into a deeper spiritual encounter and loving experience with our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray for peace, love, truth, and social justice
through active stewardship – notably through our advocate – Mother Mary. We proclaim the promise of the Kingdom of God and the grace – filled nourishment that comes when our humanness becomes one with God’s Divinity in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.
OUR VISION STATEMENT
- To have an on-going relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ
- To know and love Jesus Christ with our whole heart, whole mind, and whole soul
- To love those who do not love us back
- To evangelize our love for Jesus Christ with knowledge, passion, and heart
- To see Jesus Christ in all people, regardless of background, wealth, education, or spirituality
- To seek first the kingdom of heaven and God’s righteousness
- To consciously know in every breath the Holy Trinity is in us at our Baptism
- To find nourishment and oneness with God in the Eucharist of the Mass
- To feel and appreciate the impact and the personal importance of God in the seven sacraments
- To be doctrinally and liturgically true in all our Roman Catholic teachings
- To interpret, elevate, and share sacred Scripture with all
- To be one with the image and likeness of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
- To be first disciples of Jesus Christ in all our human endeavors
- To promote the vitality of our parish music, song, and inspirational preaching
- To be a parish alive through prayer, moral formation, and inner healing
- To continue to improve our faith formation through effective religious education programs
- To truly practice stewardship through our God-infused gifts of time, treasure, and talent
- To include and welcome all recovering sinners into our parish family without judgment and with full hospitality
- To profess that all human life is sacred; especially the unborn, the handicapped, and the elderly
- To continually pray and ask for the intercession of Mary, the Mother of God
- To promise to be life-long learners of our Catholic faith
- To pray continually, both privately and communally to the persons of the Holy Trinity and to the saints of the Roman Catholic Church
- To live our faith in unity, avoiding divisions, and always imitating Jesus Christ
- To strive to make Catholic liturgies and Catholic doctrine relevant in a person’s life and faith journey
